Originally from the Denver, Colorado suburbs, my life journey led me to California and currently Wisconsin. My time in California allowed me to acquire a broad scope of life's experiences from my first tries as a college student, a retail and on-site specialist in the Sierra skiing industry, into a variety of factory and Information Technology positions within and to my last position as a Telecommunications Systems Analyst at Lockheed Missiles and Space Co (now Lockheed Martin). I arrived in Wisconsin with diverse experiences outside of education and was ready to pass on those experiences to students in helping authenticate their learning.
I retired from public school teaching in June of 2017 and am in the process of moving Compassionate Solutions by Design into market. When I am not working on this venture, I can be found with my wife, three adult kids, my granddaughter, walking, biking, fishing, and golfing. And when the Wisconsin weather dictates an indoor mode, reading and learning about life, faith, family, and improving and seeking the wonder of my learning and teaching craft.
